One year already!

Well Milky turns one in a few weeks and it is hard to believe that time has gone by so fast. It seems like only yesterday I held a 5lb 1oz screaming newborn in my hands after the nurses handed her to me to take to see her Momma. Well in this year Milky managed to roll over at 2 and a half months, say Dada and Momma, get 4 teeth the first one at 8 1/2 months and then the second at 9 and the top two on vacation at Hebe and GB's house at around 10 months. Then the best part she crawled at 8 months and at 11 months and 3 days she showed her Momma that she could WALK!!!! So she has grown up and now she babbles all day like her Momma. I miss her and unfortunately I will not be there for her first birthday but I should be back a few days after. So she will have a small party with friends and then a better party with me and my work family. I would like to say thank you to all of our friends and family that have helped us so much over this last year and if Elaina gets her wish you can all help again in about a year and a half! So here is to the future, past and present. I am happy that my life has come to this and that I finally have found some peace and happiness. Thank you again for all you love and support and we will keep you in our prayers.

Spring in Utah

Well it is that time again, spring in Utah and after the freak snow storms and never ending rainy cloud cover something amazing happened… the sun came out! Well at least for a few days but then by the time of our trip to the zoo came around we reverted back to wintery weather. Anyway now to the important part we went to the zoo and Milky loved it. She watched the primates, geese and turkeys that the zoo has roaming freely around the grounds and we got some great pictures. The best part is we would take her to the viewing windows for all the animals and when we asked her questions about them she would respond with her usual grunts and clicks. So here are some pics of the zoo and stay tuned because next week we will have some from Georgia (mine) and Dallas (the girls). DSC00742

So there you have it that was our family outing for the week and yes it was cold and raining that is why she is bundled up.

Three months

Well I have been out experiencing life for the last three months and have forgotten to blog so here is my attempt at catching up. I was in Austin for Jan and Feb I was working 3 weeks on and 1 week off. Nothing special happened just work, and lots of it. Man I also had forgotten how good it is to go anywhere and get Dr Pepper on tap and that it is cheap down there in Texas. I also got in time with my family on a road trip and had to go to a Corporate Retreat for a week that was not paid for with a government stimulus package… That brings me to Easter… I have been thinking lately how fortunate I am to have a wonderful wife who loves me unconditionally no matter what my faults and that we get to celebrate our 6th anniversary this year. I am also so happy that I have my beautiful daughter, she is demanding and strong willed but she is such an angel. So now to the important part I know you have all been waiting for here is the Milky…20090410164442

Windows 7 Beta

I normally don't like to plug companies, but I think I am liking Windows 7 so far.  I have had a few problems with it, but quickly resolved them.  My favorite thing has to be the action center, basically it tells me what needs to be done, scans, updates, etc. Its very convenient.  Here are some pictures.

Christmas?!?!?!?!

⊆ 12/17/2008 10:46:00 PM by PFKnone | ˜ 0 comments »

It is that time of the year again to spend time with our families.  Time to give to others in need.  TIME to spend money on consumer good.  That is right you heard me.  Christmas has come down to buy, buy, buy; spend, spend, spend.  We have moved away from the meaning of Christmas to what we have today.

In the past century we have changed just about every image and idea of Christmas.  The image of Santa Claus for example.  Toys are another.  I could go on for hours, the point is that we need to evaluate the way we approach this joyous season.  Wether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Festisis, or anything else.

My plea is to reevaluate our ideas as individuals, not society.  If you start with your self, and gradually try to affect others around you, you will renew the spirit of the season.

Seasons greetings to all.
