Well hello all again from baby land. Peter has not been able to update he, as you can probably already tell by the fact that I am updating, has not been released from the fire yet. The fire is 98% contained but because of the scarcity of smaller logistical units they have retained Peter's. But if they lose more people and drop below a certain point then they will come home. Heres hoping it is before this weeked. Anyway Miriam is growing and she is getting baby fat rolls it is adorable! She stays awake more often and stares and giggles as well as ohhs and ahhs at herself. She is the best baby I couldnt have asked for a better first child, and yes I have already been told that I won't be so lucky with the next one. Anyway I better go take a nap because she is asleep! Party time...ZZZZZ... oh well.

Hey everyone, you can see that I have been out of touch with the world lately.  But I am alive and well.  I have been busy, Elaina told you that I was in Trout Lake, Washington.  The fire is called the Cold Springs fire. It is almost out and we should be Demobed by the end of the week.  Well nothing more is going on got a few more pictures of Miriam though so here they are.

Well I am going to fill in for my husband for a little while until he gets online. But anyway he is in Washington state in a town called Trout Lake at a fire and there is no cell service apparently for a pretty large area of where he is... So until he gets the satellite up and running and logs on I guess I will give updates on baby Miriam. She is two weeks old today and she is growing at her dr appt yesterday she weighed in at 5 lbs 6 oz and she is 19 and 3/4 inches long. So for those of you who cant remember and dont want to scroll down and look again she gained 5oz from her birth weight and 6 oz from last weeks appt and she has grown 1 and 3/4 inches since she was born. I am sorry though because I dont know how to post pictures of her so they will have to wait for him or for me to figure it out. Also she took her first flight ever we flew to see the our extended family. She is the best little flyer ever she only cried once and that was when we were coming down to land and all she needed was a bottle and she was fine (as compared to the other three screaming children on the plane). So we have completed our first flight ever and for all those who say how much trouble could that be here is a list of what we had to deal with. 2 suit cases weighing in at 42 and 45 lbs, one large convertable car seat, one computer back pack that also contained our normal diaper bag contents, one baby sling, one singing bunny (she loves it) and one 15 lb fur ball named Satchel or Mo for short and one little 5 lb 6 lb baby... So next time you thing you have a lot to juggle remember this travel experience... lol but thank goodness for friends that help.

Well its been 1 week and she is still here.  Here are some more pictures of her, some from the past week and some from today.

Its been a long week.  Not too much sleep, we are having to get up every 2-3 hours to feed her.  Yesterday was her first doctors visit.  Her weight was 5lbs even.  Everything was ok though.  She hates to be naked, I hope it lasts till she is 30 or so.

As of July 1, 2008 Miriam Faith Klein is here.  She came at 7:57pm and weighed 5lbs 1oz and was 18 1/2 inches long.  Such a cute little thing! So without further delay here she is.
